The safety of our community is a shared responsibility. Be aware of your surroundings. Rushing to prayer is not worth jeopardizing the safety of our children, elderly, women, and men.
A reminder to make everything about prayer more intentional. Take your time and be present when making wudhu, make dhikr on your way to salah, walk with intention, and greet your fellow Muslims.
“When one performs wudu at home thoroughly and leaves for the Masjid solely to offer salah [in congregation], for every step taken towards the Masjid [in this state of wudu], one stage is elevated in the Hereafter and one sin is forgiven.”
(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 647 and Sahih Muslim 1504)
Thank you for your continued cooperation.
Please take a look at our latest parking guidelines (4/5/2026).
Red zones will be towed at owners’ expense.
Thank you for your cooperation!
This is a reminder to our community to drive carefully and slowly in the parking lot. Drivers must maintain a speed of 5 MPH at all times. Many families, children, and elders walk and socialize in the parking lots, especially during prayer times, programs, and school hours. It only takes one moment of speeding or carelessness for a serious injury or even fatality to occur.
We’ve recently noticed an increase in parents speeding, particularly during drop-off and pick-up times when running late. This morning, a white Toyota Corolla (GIS parent) was seen driving at a high speed and nearly caused an accident. The matter is under investigation.
The Messenger ﷺ said:
“When the prayer is established, do not come to it running, but rather come to it walking. You must be calm, for you may pray it if you reach it in time. If you miss anything from it, you may complete it.”
— Sahih Muslim 602
Drivers should stay alert, follow arrows and stop signs, avoid double parking, and never use phones while driving on the property. Do not park in red zones, fire lanes, or handicap spaces without a valid permit—these are reserved for emergency access and those in need.
Please note: Cameras now monitor all areas, and MCA Security will report and share footage of any reckless driving or illegal parking with SCPD. Vehicles in violation may be towed.
Let’s all work together to keep our community safe, respectful, and organized.

MCA Security & Safety Manager
