Sustainability
The MCA Sustainability Committee, under the direction of the MCA Executive board, strives to create awareness and educate our diverse community about environmental sustainability that is prescribed in our sacred texts.
Goals
To make MCA environmentally sustainable, the sustainability committee works to:
- Eliminate single-use plastics in MCA sponsored events.
- Replace plastic water bottles, table-cloths, plates, cups, and utensils by environmental-friendly and biodegradable alternatives.
- Install a three-stream waste system for responsible trash disposal.
