Childcare

Childcare is offered from Isha until 8 rakahs. Check-in starts 20 minutes before Isha and ends 10 minutes after 8th rakah. If you fail to pick up your children, they will be dropped off to the babysitting room and will be charged. All childcare services are first-come, first-serve and limited capacity.

Registering in advance is required. Limited spots available and they fill up fast!

Cost: $75/child for the whole month

Children Under 6 years of age must be potty-trained

I’tikaf

Alhamdulillah I’tikaf registration is now full!

We deeply understand and honor the strong desire of our community members to come to the masjid for this important act of worship.

In order to serve the community responsibly, MCA must comply with all local safety regulations and legal capacity limits, which limits the number of spots available this year. MCA was recently visited by the Fire Marshal and if legal capacity is ever exceeded MCA can be shut down.

I’tikaf capacity will be strictly enforced by MCA Facilities and Security Team.

We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Qiyam at MCA

What is Qiyam al-Layl?

Qiyam (or Qiyam al-Layl) is the voluntary prayer that is offered in the middle of the night, anytime between the evening prayer (isha) until dawn. Qiyam can also be prayed at home, and many people take advantage of the last part of the night to pray, make dua, and recite Qur’an in the comfort of their homes.

During the last 10 nights, MCA will host daily Qiyam starting af 4 AM. Check out the event calendar and instagram for special programs such as the Women’s Qiyam!
