If you wish to help your community in the organization of such events or would like to participate in volunteer activities please subscribe to our volunteers mailing list and you will receive a notification whenever a volunteering opportunity arises.
Join MCA’s Legal Committee
Legal Professionals Needed
We are currently looking for individuals with legal expertise as we have our first ever legal committee. This is an ad-hoc committee working with the Board of Trustees.
Purpose: The Legal Committee ensures that MCA’s documents, contracts, policies, and procedures are properly reviewed, maintained, and aligned with:
- MCA’s constitution and bylaws
- Applicable California state and federal laws
Key Responsibilities
- Review contracts and agreements
- Advise on policies and procedures
- Ensure legal compliance
- Support the Board with legal insight and risk awareness
- Promote best practices in governance
- Provide periodic reports to the Board
