Part-Time Youth Coordinator

Job Description:

MCA is looking to hire a part-time Youth Coordinator.  The Youth Coordinator will work closely with the Youth Director on coordinating and executing programs for Youth Programs.  This position entails: development and implementation of initiatives, activities, and events that are designed to improve the quality of life for young people in our MCA community.

First Day of Employment: May 27th, 2024

Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $29.00

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet with Youth Director weekly to go over plans and execution for weekly programs
• Develop & implement youth programs in alignment with our religious organization’s values & goals.
• Coordinate and manage aspects of youth programming and logistics.
• Foster positive relationships with youth participants and their families, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement.
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with youth programs.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously make improvements based on feedback and data.
• Collaborate with other members of our organization’s leadership team and youth committee to ensure alignment with the overall mission.

Job Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in youth development preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Management or nonprofit work
• Certifications or skills in graphic design & proficiency in budget management
• Excellent organizational and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, 20 hrs/week- hours range from 12-9PM for various events
• Able to work independently and taking initiative and completing responsibilities by deadline
• Reliable transportation to MCA
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (Can get certified once hired)
