Job Description:
The Muslim Community Association (MCA) is seeking a dynamic and visionary Outreach Director to lead our Dawah and Outreach initiatives, with a special focus on enhancing support and integration for Muslim reverts.
This role involves strategic oversight, program development, and team leadership to expand our Outreach efforts and deepen our impact within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
– Strategic Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dawah Outreach Department, ensuring alignment with MCA’s mission and strategic objectives.
– Program Development and Implementation: Lead the development and implementation of initiatives as outlined in the “Proposal for Enhanced Support and Integration Initiatives for Muslim Reverts,” including setting up and managing the MCA Academy.
– Team Management: Build and lead a dedicated Outreach team focused on the effective execution of programs and activities. Provide mentorship, set objectives, and evaluate team performance.
– Community Engagement: Increase MCA’s Outreach efforts to engage more people, particularly non-Muslims and new Muslim reverts, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
– Partnership Development: Cultivate relationships with local scholars, community leaders, and other organizations to support and enhance outreach programs.
– Outreach Efforts: Support the Outreach efforts of Dawah and calling communities of other faiths to MCA
– Resource Management: Manage budgets, resources, and logistics to ensure the successful execution of outreach initiatives.
– Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish systems to monitor the effectiveness of outreach programs and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
Qualifications:
– Proven leadership experience in a non-profit or community organization setting, preferably in an outreach or interfaith context.
– Strong understanding of the challenges faced by Muslim reverts and a passion for improving their integration and support within the community.
– Excellent organizational, managerial, and communication skills.
– Ability to strategize, implement and evaluate Outreach initiatives effectively.
– Experience in program development, team management, and community engagement.
– Knowledge of Islamic teachings and the ability to respectfully engage with a diverse range of community members and stakeholders.

Compensation:
Compensation Range: $140K – $150K
