The goal of MCA Outreach is to inform and educate the public about Islam and Muslims. With so much misconceptions, it is important to build bridges of understanding, initiate dialogues and get involved in the community. |
MCA Outreach Offers the following classes:
- Discover Islam: MCA outreach offers free classes for the public under the umbrella of "Discover Islam" series. It's a 5-week course that closely examines and discusses the essence of Islam. We had more than 10 students registered for previous sessions and we aim to sustain the class at least at that level. Many of the students became more interested in Islam and started to come to MCA for other events, alhamdulillah. Please encourage your friends and colleagues to attend so that they may understand Islam in its true light. Discover Islam classes are every Monday from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the Dawah Lounge. - Enter Islam: designed to help provide students with a basic understanding of Islam, the tools to practice Islam, and the knowledge to benefit from other community activities. Some elements of the class include: basics of Islam (beliefs, forms of worship), inspiring stories of prophets, an introduction to the Prophet Muhammad, interacting with family and community, and the Afterlife. - Introduction to Arabic Class: will start on Sunday February 24, 2013 at 8:00 am.
(Every Sunday 8:00 am to 10:00 am)
