Career Center: Volunteers Needed to Prepare Taxes at MCA during the Tax Season
In an effort to help the middle class and low income families, IRS has launched a program called Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). VITA provides FREE tax preparation and filing and this year MCA plans to participate.
We are looking for volunteers who are interested in helping us during the tax season.
In order to prepare taxes, VITA requires that you get basic tax training which is available both online and through weekend seminar. The class room space is limited; individuals interested in getting trained in class as oppose to online should start registration process as soon as possible.
Time Commitment: Every Saturday starting from first week of February to April 15th. The schedule is flexible.
