This program seeks to help Muslim middle school, high school, and college students achieve an excellent education and a great start to a career they love. This program will focus on providing the following services.

  • Workshops, Panels, & Information Sessions with Parents, College/Graduate Students, Young Professionals, and Professional Academic Counselors
  • Mentoring
  • Career Days (TBD)
  • College Tours (TBD)
  • Online information regarding internship and job opportunities, updates on local college information sessions, educational and test prep resources, etc.


This program has three focuses:



High School Preparation

It is important to start thinking early on, beginning in middle school, about where to send your child for high school. Every child is different, and private, Islamic, and public schools each have their own advantages and unique environments. Furthermore, it is important to understand what types of grades, classes, and extracurricular activities are needed, beginning in ninth grade, to get into the top universities in the country.


College Preparation
In order to apply and get accepted into top institutions such as CalTech, Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, Harvard, and other UC system and Ivy league schools, applicants need to know a number of things, including:

  • How to navigate the overall admission process?
  • How to prepare to get accepted into a top institution?
  • What are the courses (including APs etc.) and grade requirements for each college?
  • What are the test requirements (SAT, PSAT, etc.) and how can applicants get the best results?
  • How to fill and present the best applications (including essay writing) and set up interviews
  • Extracurricular activities, community service, and leadership.
  • What to do during summer vacations.
  • Recommendations/references
  • Fees, financial aid, and scholarships
  • College visits and interviews
  • Acceptance decisions/appeals
  • Choosing the best school for you
  • Applying as a transfer or international student

Graduate School & Career Preparation
This aspect of the program seeks to provide an introduction to several excellent graduate school and career options for high school and college students to consider pursuing, including:

  • Law
  • Medicine
  • Engineering
  • Business/MBA
  • Journalism

For all of these graduate programs and careers, it is important to know:

  • What the best undergraduate majors are to prepare you for these careers.
  • How to get into the best graduate schools.
  • Grade requirements for the best schools.
  • Test requirements (LSAT, GMAT, GRE, MCAT, etc.) for the best schools.
  • Career options for each field.
  • Choosing the right first place to work.
  • How to know what career or graduate program to choose, based on your personal strengths.
