As per schedule, GIS elections was held on March 21, 08. Three candidates were on ballot, because Br.Syed Reza withdrew his nomination. Following are elections results:

Note: 1 ballot was invalid

Based on the above results, InshAllah, Br.Mohammad and Br.Isa will serve the GIS Board for 2 years. As Election Committee members, we urge you strongly to respect the courage, honesty, and integrity of all nominees/candidates/nominators/seconded in the entire election process.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all community members for their support, feedback and guidance to the Elections Committee. May Allah (swt) accept our efforts and continue to bless our Community with unity, harmony, and peace. Please forgive elections committee for any short comings.
