DIRECTIONS: On 680 or 101, take Alum Rock East exit; go about three miles and take a right turn on Mt. Hamilton Rd.; go about two miles and follow the ranch sign.
Eid-ul-Adha (10th of Zil-Hijh) will be on Friday, Jan.21, 2005.
It is Waajib to perform Qurbani. A person should slaughter a sacrificial animal himself. If he can not do it, he should be present at the time of sacrifice.
- Insha-Allah, there will be about 150 goats and lambs for sale, price about $180. There will be butchers on site for skinning and cutting meat into pieces, $20 extra.
- Please go to the ranch before Eid to purchase and arrange sacrifice date and time.
Reservation will start from Saturday, January 15 at 10:00 AM.
There is a large board in the manager's office. There are four tags on each square on the board. Each square represents a thirty minute time slot from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. Please pick up a tag of your choice and go to the cattle enclosure.
- Select an animal of your choice. The salesman will spray paint the tag # on the animal. Pay the price and get a receipt with the tag #.
- Please come at least half an hour prior to your scheduled time. The slaughtering, skinning, and cutting into pieces will be finished in about 30 minutes. If you come late, your turn will be at the end.
- If you can not get appointment on the Eid day, you can do it on Saturday, Jan.22.
- Please maintain discipline and follow Islamic etiquette. Only those persons who have to do sacrifice are allowed in the slaughterhouse (maximum 4 at a time). Keep the door closed.
