Mark your checks as “Ramadan Expenses”.
Make this blessed month a memorable experience for everybody by adhering to the following rules:
Before Prayers:
-
Parking: Only park legally in MCA parking lot. Violators will be towed.
-
Vanguard Parking: We can park any time on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You cannot park on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
-
Bathrooms: Please keep them clean.
-
Cleanliness: Be sensitive to others by maintaining cleanliness of our body, clothing, and breath especially.
-
Shoes: Put them in the appropriate shoe racks – do not make them a fire hazard.
-
Strollers: Should be parked in designated areas only.
During Prayers:
-
Infants, Toddlers: Not in prayer areas. Only in Mother’s Lounge & Babysitting room.
-
Children ages 4-7: Must be in daily story telling/activity programs in the Gym during first 8 rakaas.
-
Children over 7 & teenagers: Must be next to their parents during Taraweeh. For everyone’s safety, no youth “chillaxing/hanging out” will be permitted during the first 8 rakaas of taraweeh.
-
Food: Not permitted in the prayer areas.
-
Side Walls: Do not sit or block. Keep your jackets, water bottles etc. next to you.
-
Sisters: MCA received repeated complaints during Ramadan about a high level of noise and chatting in the women’s prayer hall during Taraweeh prayers. This is against the teachings of our beloved Prophet and against all etiquettes. We kindly ask the sisters to NOT socialize in the women’s prayer hall while the prayer is going on, and to respect the directions given to them by the volunteers.
-
Volunteers: Our volunteers work very hard and selflessly during Ramadan in order to bring you the best experience possible. We kindly urge you to listen to them and to follow instructions for everyone’s safety.
After Prayers:
We ask for your generosity to support various causes including projects at your MCA. Prophet Mohammad Sallullahu Alahi Wa Sallum used to be the most generous in this blessed month. May Allah SWT accept your Sawm, Salat, Qiyam and Charity in this month and year round.
