Brothers and Sisters in Islam Assalamu Alaikum


Through its family support & development program, MCA offers a mentoring program whose objectives include connecting Muslim brothers or sisters for social and emotional support. The program reaches out to both youth and adults, and our mentors are trained volunteers from the community with good character and skills.

MCA is seeking a part-time program coordinator to administer, manage and grow its mentoring program. Interested parties should send resumes to mentors@mcabayarea.org 


Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in social / recreational therapy / Business administration or related field.

Earned courses/trainings in youth/mentoring/research or related educational experiences.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language.

Sound knowledge of the psychological and physical development of adolescents and adults. 

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. 

Computer skills especially in Microsoft office. 

Sound knowledge about Islamic beliefs and practices. 

Self-motivation and initiative.
 
Research skills is a plus
