3rd Annual Community Camp 2008

Reviving Our Iman

With Imam Alauddin ElBakri 

May 30th- June 1st
Friday 6:00PM until Sunday 2:00PM
 

Camp Sempervirens; 20161 Big Basin Way, Boulder Creek, CA 
(1-Hour drive from the MCA)


This is a perfect get-away opportunity from the noise of life into the peaceful and beautiful woods of boulder creek for 2 nights and 2 days. Activities and reflections are designed to rejuvenate the body, mind and soul, and to bring about a revival of Iman inside of us. Isn't it high time for a fresh start?

For adult Brothers & Sisters, & Families 
Special program for sisters and children
Games and activities for all age groups
Two nights accommodation & 6 Zabiha meals included 
Brothers & Sisters will have separate cabins.



Early registration Fees  (by May 2nd): 

Single: $80
Family of two: $75 each
Family of three or more: $70 each
Children: 5-12 $60
Kids 3-4: $25
Kids under 3: Free

Late registration (May 3rd – 17th) 
$10 extra per person 

Limited financial assistance is available (Must apply before May 15th)

Spiritual Activities include:
Azkar, Khatira after each prayer, Reflection on some surahs, Qiyam, & Ask the sheikh.

Fun Activities for brothers and sisters:
Games, contests, Islamic quiz, archery, soccer, volleyball, hiking, rope climbing and more.

Youth program includes:
Special talks for the youth, Campfire, rope climbing, cable sliding, swimming, hiking, nature studies, soccer,  and volleyball.

Suggested Items to Bring Along
Qur'an, Flash Light, Pillow, Bedding & Cover or Sleeping Bag, Light Jacket or Sweater, Hiking Shoes and Slippers, Towel, Shampoo, Toothbrush, Hat and Sunscreen, Appropriate swim suit for Children, Insect repellent & Water bottle (for hikes).
