Hello there!
As-salamoalaikuum.
We just moved to the Sates from Bangladesh. Here in the Bay area, trust me, no deshi brothers or sisters. Fortunately, I happen to know 1 desi guy whom I got to know thru my cousin (just left the us last Tuesday, sept 2nd, leaving in an ocean of no one I can cling to..) who lives now in Sunnyvale and attends this masjid based community where, as he says, a lots of Bangladeshi folks come together.
If you are one of those and reading this, please let us know where you live and where to get a Hilsha fish...My wife is killing me for this. I went to Sunnyvale and drove alone El Camino, but didn't get the fish. We are Gulshan-1, Dhaka, originally from the North Bengal
Hope the Holy Ramadan is bringing peace and serenity to all of our souls.
Respectfully:
Mokter
